when you see
people you stopped talking to
past clothing
past hairstyles
past lovers
the belief that nothing would change what you felt then
the music you used to like
the people you used to like
once in a life time events
you, before you became you
it has it's benefits and it's painful reminders but whether it makes me want to go back to high school to toss a flag in the air or makes think that the hole in my chest never really healed, old pictures always had a pleasant feeling to them.
sometimes i cant believe what i've done and the people who've come into my life
it makes me excited to see what lies ahead
